Who is actually Geert Wilders, the surprise winner of the Dutch political election?

.ON NOV 22ND Geert Wilders’s anti-immigrant Participant for Independence (PVV) finished to begin with in the Dutch overall election, winning 37 of the 150 chairs in parliament, or even 23.6% of the vote. His victory was a significant unpleasant surprise. Yet the recipient of the quick turn to the hard right is no upstart.

The 60-year-old Mr Wilders is the longest-serving MP in the Dutch parliament, having entered in 1998 as a participant of the centre-right Liberals (VVD). He gave up that party in 2004 over what he considered its own gentleness in the direction of Islam, and established the PVV in 2006. He has consistently had a strong bottom of elector support, but has invested his legislative job mostly on the side projects, shut out of effect through various other parties’ refusal to partner with him.

Now there is a likelihood that this will certainly modify.
